We have for sale a beautiful pair of 9ct rose gold Whitby Jet small single sided stud earrings. These earrings have been beautifully hand crafted in Sheffield, England. In a round shape, and set with unique pieces of Whitby Jet, with a solid polished back. These earrings fasten with a post and butterfly. 

Whitby Jet is fossilised driftwood, discovered in Yorkshire in England. In the Victorian era jet was mined both inland and along the coast. Jet is no longer mined and all our jet is found through natural coastal erosion. Whitby jet is famed for is deep and intense black colour and the lustrous shine. Jet is a spiritual gemstone and is considered to have abilities of protection and purification, with grounding energies. This is a great stone for emotional healing, having calming effects on people with anxiety and depression.
